Sorry but I read this and dismissed it but kept thinking about your question, looking for some sort of logic, I may be a ' thicko' but I cant find any!
It reminded me of an old song 'you always hurt the one you love' I couldn't find any logic in that either!
Now your question seems to contradict its self, why would you ever desire some thing that you were afraid of? I would be afraid of being buried alive trying to get out of my coffin, I have no desire at all to try it out to see if I secretly desire the experience .
An example of this logic would have been interesting?

Depends on what. What I desire most is a career, but I'm not afraid of it by any means.

I don't know about that one because I'm afraid of dying and I don't desire that yet.

I think it depends on the person. My ex-boyfriend once told me that I was everything he could have ever wanted in a woman. He had been married before and everything he had wanted in a wife she wasn't. He had found those qualities in me.....But he said it was the scariest thing because he always felt that he was going to mess things up and lose me some how....Which ultimately he did.

If you know what you want out of life, I suggenst you go out and find it, and once you do embrace it...never deny it. because you never know if you will ever be able to find it again.

Good Luck.

When you think about it yes, but you don't think about that when you really desire something.
