Yes, I was always told by guys that "closed mouths don't get fed". this person may be trying to be "wholesome" and think they're moving "too fast". Either tell the person how you feel or make the first move yourself.

I think you guys should talk to each other to find out if the feelings are mutual. If you haven't hugged or kissed after 5 months, something is definitely missing from the relationship. Whether if you are a male or female tell your companion how you feel.

If it's been 5 months and there's been no contact, either he/she is really shy, or is unable to show that kind of emotion because of an unresolved problem in there past... I think you should make the first move and if you can't pull it off, try to sit down and talk about but be careful it could be painful for them.

First off how old are you? If your under 18 No. If your over 18 I would find someone new. 5 months is way to long to not show affection.

It seems such as you're in simple terms acquaintances. Are you specific which you're 'going out'? counting on your age (under 15), no longer having actual touch is regular (and is a sturdy element). while you're sixteen+ and don't a minimum of hug, this does not sound like a romantic courting. you could desire to sit down down and communicate with them approximately what form of courting this quite is, previously you get injury.

Do it!

But not at some awkward moment. Find some privacy, and have a conversation with her. Preferably, be somewhere where you can be close to her without people bothering you, like at home. If you've been hitting it off and have been having a good conversation, wait for one of the gaps when neither of you says anything and just lean in and plant one on her lips.

That's how my bf did it to me and I loved him for it!
