I broke out in hives for no reason at all. I haven't eaten, worn or used anything new. Except maybe some vitamin C I am taking for a cold I have.
But for the last two days, my upper body is covered in welts. Besides Benydrill (sorry for the misspelling) is there any treatments I can do to help them go away?

**Update:
I am still suffering from the hives. I called the doctors office and spoke to a nurse who told me to wait it out and take Benadryl, which I have been taking. I am also using baby oil, which I read somewhere would help, we'll see.
I also remembered that on the night I came down with the attack, I had some chinese food my sister brought home. The thing is it wasn't anything I hadn't eaten before, I think, but since I came down with Hives that night, it had to be the cause.
Dang I am itchy!!! (:

If you have health insurance you should go see your doctor or dermatologist. If you don't have insurance you should go to the free clinic, you need to get some medical advice.

Your doctor will be able to give you something that will work better. Benydryl might be the best thing to take unless that is what you are allergic to. Think about other medications you have had that might be causing your hives like sudafed or other cold medicine. What you ingested that is causing the problem could take a day or two to cause the hives, so think back a couple days. Please consider seeing a doctor.

How is your immune system? Is there anything you are doing that will destroy it (smoking, etc)? If there is nothing, it is actually normal for someone to age and become allergic to something even when you were not as a child. I just developed out of the blue an allergy to farm raised fish. Which is probably a good thing because it isn't the best thing for us to eat anyway.

Sounds like it is some allergic reaction. You may have gotten too much vitamin C. However, you should call the doctor to make sure it isn't anything seriously, especially the fact that the benaydril hasn't relieve it.

That's an allergic reaction. When you ingest something that the body doesn't like it does whatever it can to get rid of it. That's why the diarrhea. I recommend that you get tested to determine what exactly you are allergic to, because allergic reactions tend to get worse with each subsequent exposure. You've got to know what to avoid, because allergic reactions can be fatal. Good luck!

You need to find out what caused it. You may also need to carry an epipen in case it happens again. Allergic reactions can be caused by anything at anytime. It would be better to be prepared. Call you doctor and get in as soon as you can.
