I often walk by a homeless man on my way to work who claims he talks to god. He often has these conversations out loud. My question is, is he the next mesiah or is he just crazy?

You dont have to be the next Messiah or crazy to talk about God.. if this homeless guy talks to God as he sits on the street can you imagine that even in his situation how happy he is to have someone to talk to that is always there for him....ok

Obviously crazy. However, had he lived 2000 years ago, he may have been called a God...
Joan of Arc is now known to have suffered from schizophrenia... Wasnt God telling her to kick the English's butts....was her own crazy mind. Which goes to show you the power the mind has - not only over its owner, but those that actually beleive the crap coming out of the owners mouth.

No he's not crazy and he's not the next Messiah, he's really just a person who seems to have love in his heart for God. Perhaps this is his own way to forget his troubles.

Sometimes homeless people have allot on their mind. If you have some money ask by food for that person, try to get their mind off bad thoughts.

He's probably 'just crazy' ... but you should 'be aware' of his 'insanity' and 'keep an eye' on him to be sure he's safe ... and if he's 'not safe' then you should call the police or fire department so that they can take him somewhere that is 'safe' ... and then in you own small way, you can be doing 'the messiah's work' ...

He probably does this because no one else ever talks to him. Even children have "imaginary friends" who they communicate with on their level.I'm wondering when the last time was he had a conversation with another human being.Try talking to him sometime and see what he has to say. You may be surprised.

I'd say he's crazy. Approximately 40% of homeless people have mental health issues.
