The Pope is 'just a man' who was 'elected' to this 'highest religious position' in the Catholic church. He can say 'anything he wants' and as long as it is not labeled as being a 'Papal infallibility' it is only the statement of that one man's belief. I really HATED Joseph Ratzinger when he was an 'archbishop' and I totally disagreed with what he told people they should and shouldn't do ... but since he's been elected as Pope he's 'come down off his high horse' a lot ... and I can ADMIRE HIM for saying 'the wrong thing' about Muslims, and then going to Turkey and going inside a Muslim place of worship to show that Muslims and Christians can 'get along' ... and about the things he still says (since he was elected Pope ... anything he said before that election 'doesn't count' with me very much) that I 'disagree with' I can 'pray to God' to get his 'mind straighter' on those things, even if that 'straighter' doesn't turn out to be what I think it ought to be. Yes, I am a Catholic, but that does not mean that I 'worship' the Pope, nor do I do everything 'just the way he says to do it' ... and I can still be a 'good Catholic' even though I actually 'read what he says' and come to my own 'opinions' about whether it is right or wrong.

The teachings on faith and morals come from Christ it would be prudent for us to listen.
the Bible says that the Church, not the Scriptures, is the pinnacle and foundation of the truth (1 Tim. 3:15) and the final arbiter on questions of the Christian faith (Matt. 18:17). It is through the teaching authority and Apostolic Tradition (2 Thess. 2:15; 3:6; 1 Cor. 11:2) of this Church, who is guided by the Holy Spirit (John 14:16,26; 16:13), that we know of the divine inspiration of the Scriptures, and the manifold wisdom of God. (cf. Ephesians 3:10).

This guy's a dirtbag, and he knows nothing. The last pope actually helped people instead of whining all the time. Maybe kids aren't so stupid as to reenact videogame violence. If anything they have something to do then cause mischief.
