On the box of tea, or from any one drinking tea nearby really. Steeping is the basic way you make tea. Steep = brew. SO....boil some water, put a little of the hot water in the tea pot to help the brew/warm the pot, put some tea bags or loose tea in a tea ball ad pour the boiling water over the tea leaves. Steep/brew for 3-4 min for black teas, less for green.

The term " steeped tea' isn't a recipe. Thats how you make tea. You put your loose leaf tea or tea bags in a teapot. Pour boiling water over it and let it steep for 10 minutes.

Sage Tea

It has been said American people would do well if they would use sage instead of tea and coffee. The Chinese make fun of the American people because they buy the expensive tea for their drink and pay a big price for it, while the Chinese buy sage from America for a small price and drink that for their tea, which is a most wonderful remedy. The Chinese know that the sage tea will keep them well, while the tea that we buy from the Chinese makes us sick, is a cause of great nervousness and one of the causes of insanity. Sage tea is very soothing to the nerves, good for stomach troubles, gas, makes an excellent gargle for the throat, will expel worms, stop bleeding of wounds, good for liver and kidney troubles, a good wash for wounds, good hair tonic, fever reducer, and good for circulation. This tea should not be boiled, just steeped. Information came from Back To Eden by Jethro Kloss.

1 tablespoon fresh sage leaves or 1 teaspoon dried sage
1 cup water
1 wedge lemon (optional)
honey, to sweeten (optional)

Bring water to a boil. Remove from heat and put sage in the water. Let steep for about 30 minutes.
Strain, pour in cup, add lemon and honey, if desired, and drink. You may drink this hot or cold. Enjoy!

Steeped tea is just tea that you let set for an amount of time to get the full flavor of the tea, usually you put your tea bag in hot water, I cover mine with a saucer, let it steep for three minutes and it tastes perfect :-)

Is this a serious question? Boil water, put tea in a pot either loose or in a bag. Pour boiling water into pot, wait five minutes or so depending on how strong you want it, then pour out. Milk and sugar to taste.
