I don't. I found that they are not at all what people think they are. The french were so kind to me when I visted and helped me with everything. Now, on the other hand, British people were not nice to me at all. I attended Oxford University and it seems like they were threatened by me. So Sad...as far as the political aspect, the french government has not been very consistent in their actions. So...lots of turmoil.

it's an old trick and it works over and over - demonize someone to distract the population from the devastating problems at home...

Who is 'everyone'? I never heard of everyone hating France.
Their culture (way of thinking, values and food) are quite different than the USA...and maybe 'everyone' is the USA because no one likes anyone who's 'different'.

Becuase they are wussies and they supply our enemies with weapons. (excocet- anti war ship missiles capable of holding nuclear warheads)
They supplied Iran with deadly missiles that are equivalent to our harpoon missiles.

Cheese eating surrender monkeys....and they are very rude. I had a german girlfriend when i lived in germany and i wanted to visit paris for the weekend. The whole time we were driving there, she said you wont like it, you wont like it. The people were so brazenly rude and unwilling to talk to anyone who wasnt french. On the way back to germany, i looked over to my girlfriend and said, no wonder you bombed them.
