Now its not that im turning it up to loud, because i cant turn it up that loud before it starts doing it. the bass has to be on like 1 or 2 which blows bc i love bass. i also have subs, im not sure what kind they are but would i have to replace all speakers in my car before i even attempt to hook those bad boys up? whats a quality brand speaker and quality head unit?
help, i cant take it anymore!

sounds to me liek your speakers are going bad. i would replace them with some simple sony speakers get some 3 ways which basically have high mid and low range and yes u will have to run 2 amps u also have amps that carry a built in cross over now, so u wont need a seperate crossover. for me when i installed the sonys in my friends car they sound alot better than the 4 way pioneer someone else installed in it. so i would try em out see how they sound.. if you do decide to get 3 ways and a 4 channel amp just make sure u turn the low rang down on the amp so u wont get bass on the interior speakers just have all the bass on the subs.. i like clear quality music.. for a head unit u can try alpine i have found that those are nice headunits sounds good carry the preouts u need theres also clarion but these are expensive u can also try pioneer i find these play good as well too. if you need anymore help feel free to email me ravin1418@yahoo.com ill try to help u out more if i can.

For a head unit, I would look toward Pioneer. They have decent quality, great features (including crossovers) and all at a great price. Alpine and Eclipse have even better quality, but at a higher price.

As for front speakers, you really can't go wrong with Infinity. They make vast varieties and designs to suit your budget and application.

depends on what you have. does your radio have a built in crossover? you can cut the bass out of your door speakers. best way would be to run at least 2 amps, one 4 channel for the speakers and at least another to power your amp. of course, your radio must have the preamp outputs. if it has a subwoofer output great, if not, you might need to run a crossover.
