I printed a map of the airport terminal that handles all Northwest airlines flights and it looks HUGE. I'm flying to Norfolk, VA from there in April.

It's really not as big as it looks, and it gets a little less traffic than other airports its size, so it is really not so bad. The gate agent can tell you what gate to catch your connecting flight and if it is in another terminal, you don't have to go far. The terminals are kind of long but in a straight line--- just walk to the end of B (for example) and get to the point where all the terminals meet, then walk right up to C. There's moving sidewalks (people movers) that make getting around a bit easier. If you do not walk out past the security gate, you can travel between all of the terminals without having to be re-screened. So just make sure you don;t leave the secure area and you'll be fine.

It IS a big airport but it's very easy to get around. It's a big hub for Northwest Airlines, which is also a good airline. But the airport is new (or at least newly renovated) within the past couple years and it's well marked and easy to get around. I fly close to 100 times a year and it's one of my favorite airports.

I grew up down the street, very easy to get around, lots of detailed signs, right off of I-275, shouldn't have a problem!

Go to the Bar at Concourse C near gate 19, ask for Joe. I'll give you a free tour of the storeroom.
