We can't win, can we?

I'm not surprised at all the Christian apologists, but do you people realize "God's way," the world he handed us, is one in which people had life expectancies of around 30 years and regularly suffered throughout their short lives with disease, mental illness, drought, etc.? Do you really want "God's world?"

How do our failings prove that God is evil? They're our failings, not His.

When humanitarians were making an attempt to irrigateTanzania God sent a drought. This caused them to stop using the water for electricity and use it to maintain the rice fields which were drying up.

God likes droughts.

Why is that proof that God is evil? Does that perhaps prove that we are not following His ways and rules and consequently are destroying the things created "In the beginning"...

What if we took His charge to be the caretaker of the earth seriously? Would we not then have a perspective of caring for it beyond our selfish selves?

What if we reflected His values in people who He created in His image? Would we not then share all the blessings and riches in our own homes with those that we identify as in need?

Think about it.

what you dont seem to realize is that god gave each of us common sense. if "we" chose to use these ingenious technologies to take care of all our problems, we could. but guess what? we chose to not use our common sense and instead see dollar signs and to hell with poverty and misery. so you see....god gives you a choice. do the right thing with all your brains or do the wrong thing. blaming god is not the problem, what we do with what we have ........is.

No technology is good or evil in itself. It's the way humans have used it to make it so.

While I agree with your first statement, this Atheist requires more proof than a simple statement.

Maybe then, we need to do a rethinking on what we need and what makes us happy.
