It depends on what's causing the headache.

I got a REALLY nasty headache a couple of weekends ago. What finally knocked it out was a cup of tea with ginger and valerian root in it, and a good long massage on my head. And then I followed it up with a lot of water in case I was dehydrating.

Good luck.

My brother gets migranes almost everyday, so we constantly deal with this

try ice on the back of your neck and forehead

put biofreeze or icy hot on your forehead

go to a chiroprator or a psychio-cranial doctor, they can cure it almost instantly

stop watching the computer and TV

lay down and close your eyes

hope you feel better soon!

Tiger balm on your temples and across the top of your eyebrows. It works like magic, particualy good to help with a good nights sleep. I have also found that Vicks vapour rub comes a pretty close second .

I agree with the Brown eyed girl. How much water do you drink in a day? If not close to 2.5 litres, excluding coffee, tea and fizzy stuff, then start. Oh yeah and if you smoke....stop.

Eat a spoon full of peanut butter. The protein in it makes your headache go away....if your head still hurts, take a nap.
