i looked at your pictures. Eventhough both cars look sweet, but why not a toyota or honda. I've just been in an accident with my volkwagen, the insurance have paid me, but i'm never going back to volkwagen ever in my life. Please try to stay away from volkwagen. These cars are no good. When something goes wrong the dealers can never find what the problem is. you might enjoy it for the first few months, but after that things become ugly. Look at this website : www.myvwlemon.com all you will see are people getting out of volkwagen and going to honda or toyota. I don't know about the other car scion.

depends whats important to you. I have had both a scion and a jetta, my jetta out handled the scion hands down, but it doesn't look as cool. If you get the Jetta GLI that car is great, that is what I had and I loved it. My scion was a bore to drive, I drive stick and it reminded me of learning to drive stick on a farm truck. It was very sloppy. The Shifting in the jetta was very crisp clean. But either one are decent buys for reliability and resale. Just whether you want looks or ride.

Go for the Jetta! But keep in mind that I am really only judging by how nice it looks...

Scion is a cheap Toyota.
Volkswagon is a better car.
