Hitler did beleive in Jesus as the Messiah. He was a Roman Catholic (not Lutheran), so he was a Christian, however he committed unspeakable crimes against humanity and more particularly, God's Chosen people. Works indeed do count. Being a Christian, in my theological view doesn't give you license to do what Hitler did.
So Hilter was Christian by faith, but certainly not by deed. It would be hard for me to believe that he could be in heaven.

If you , in fact mean an Evangelical or Born Again Christian, he probably was not, few people did the born again thing anywhere in the forties. That movement as we know it (I do not think much of it) really came out of the evangelical movement and revival movement of the 1950's.

If Hitler was converted before He died, he would be in heaven. If he acknowledged his need of a Savior and confessed his sins accepting Christ and his righteousness, he would be in heaven.

What the heck is wrong with this thought!!!!!

Hitler is about to die...does the I am sorry bit...totally sincere.

He was directly responsible for 60 million plus deaths and countless acts of horror leading to abject misery.

He does a short mea culpa....so sorry.

There is no way a monster like this could go to heaven. And if he did...I don;t want to join that kind of party!

If Hitler was converted before He died, he would be in heaven. If he acknowledged his need of a Savior and confessed his sins accepting Christ and his righteousness, he would be in heaven.

It would have had to have been a genuine conversion. A change in his thoughts and feelings with new desires, new purposes and new motives. This would be known to God and Him alone.

In order to enjoy heaven and in order to be trusted in heaven, a person must have a character like that of Christ or at least be willingly cooperating with God for this process to take place before they die.

Yeah.
We're all sinner to different degrees.......
I mean sex before marriage and getting drunk are definitely in the same category as killing 12 million people.....

And Hitler was NOT a Christian. Listen to his speech's....he denounces them. Do your research people....don't just read one page on the Internet and believe it whole heartily.

Not all claiming to be Christian are in fact Christians.

But, let's say Hilter did ask for forgiveness in killing over 6 million of God's chosen people, a few hundreds of thousand Catholic, and a few other sects.... yes he would be forgiven. However, I doubt if the man had a heart or conscience and asked to be forgiven in the sincere and humble manner in which we are to do so.

Hitler already was a Christian (Lutheran) when he died. Why do you think he was so intent on exterminating Jews?

And...everyone goes to Heaven when they die. The Creator loves us whether we like it or not.

No question about it!

But actually he did accept Jesus as his saviour so rest assured that Mr. Hitler will be ready and waiting for you up there if you're a good boy!
