Saints (as you refer to them) would have absolutely no reason to have ever turned from God. They would have a great understanding of the need for his presence in their lives.
The ones who turn to Jesus when they've no where else to go, are the ones that might have turned their backs on him at an earlier time in their life. Hitting rock bottom allows a person reflection on a past that was probably much better than their current circumstances.

not necessarily the saved ones that are in and with Christ now already knows they will be ok He is our best friend always but if someone were not sure and were scared or needed a friend i think Jesus would be the first they would call for ///thinking if nothing else all these people could have been right

I think people in general turn to Jesus as their last resort. It takes alot of faith to stick with Him all the time. Saved or not saved it all depends on your faith. Sometimes people think when things are going good they dont need God which shows a lack of faith because you only expect Jesus to be there when your in a mess. But He wants a relationship with not just to be there when we cant get ourselves out of something.

A Saint is merely a person who has accepted Jesus as their Savior.
I am a Saint are you?
P.S. I turned to Jesus when I had nothing left. That is the whole purpose of Jesus. Why would someone who is not in need--need Jesus?

People turn to the big jesus advocating organizations for help, not nessacarily jesus. If all the priest were poor and broke there would be no help.

I dont know. some people need to be down to thier lowest point before the truth can be seen. Jesus probably doesnt care when people accept him, He just wants us to love Him and believe in Hime so we can live in His fathers kingdom forever. I hope more people see how sweet my Jesus is so they can meet Him.

I am Methodist so I do not know about the Saints. I do however believe that there are certain people who are born with the knowledge of God and the rest of us have been taught the knowledge of God.
I think I am blessed to have been born with flaws. My flaws have led me to my faith and my flaws will keep me there.

some do, and some don't. only a few people at the end of there rope find Jesus. most believers however talk to God more during their hard times.
