It depends on your weight and metabolism. I would guess around 300 calories as I burn about that in a 20 minute session on an elliptical machine.

It depends how old you are and how much you weigh. Younger people will burn more calories, and so will heavier people.

28 minutes is going to burn less than 200 calories....I run on my treadmill all the time, usually at 5.5 mph and it takes more than 30 minutes to get up to 250 calories...

Not a ton at that speed...that's more like walking along at a good clip. You'd burn more on an elliptical.
