I think you are all correct in one way or another I feel it would be best to give the guy i have been seing and history with a chance to make it work.. I am just really unsure still if I am ready to give up the possibility that this new guy might be better..

Well, be nice to the "old" guy. But there's reason you didn't want commitment, right? I don't think that there is anything wrong with seeing the new guy. You were honest with the other guy and let him know you wanted to keep your options open.

You have to ask yourself a couple questions. Such as ...are you ready for a monogamous relationship yet. . If not, have fun, see what happens. If so, next question is how much do you like the first guy. How much in common, best characteristics, things you like about him, or don't like. This guy might be the better long term choice.
Why is the new guy stimulating to you? Check his character before you get too involved. This guy might be where the heart is. Love by itself doesn't always make the best relationship.
I would probably check the new guy out before I actually did anything. You wouldn't want to throw away a good egg, only to find out later the new egg is bad inside.

this shouldnt be difficult, unless both guys are just mediocre you should have more of an attraction for one even if it is this newcomer. maybe your settling here for less than you should be. or perhaps you already know the answer and are just afraid of ditching the first guy after youve spent so long building a relationship with him. my opinion taking things nice and slowly and progressing nicely sounds like something youd hear in catering i think that this new guy saying all the right things may be more exciting passionate and fun which falling in love is all about. go for broke.......

this probably isn't what you want to hear, but here goes. I think that you should be honest with both of the guys. tell them that you have feelings for both and you would like to see both of them. but remember what is good for you is good for them. if you want to have an open relationship with these 2 guys you shouldn't expect you to be the only female in their lives. if the thought of one of the guys kissung or having sex with some one else upsets you.....then maybe that is the guy that your heart is telling u is the right guy for you.

If you two have not agreed to date exclusively, then you are not doing anything wrong. Definately don't "take it to the next level" with either one of these guys if you haven't yet because that would cause complications. Hope it works out for you.

If it was me I would stay with the guy that you have history with, it seems to me that he cares about how you feel and that. not pushing or rushing into things that you are not ready. good luck.
