Why is it that many people believe we evolved?

Why do planets all have different charateristics and why do we have so many cultures on this earth?

Can you please explain? The theory of the earth evolving really doesn't make much sense to me.

First there are earth, water, fire, air and ether. These are the five great elements which the Universe and planets are composed. Then there are false ego, intelligence and the unmanifested stage of the three modes of nature. Then there are five senses for acquiring knowledge: the eyes, ears, nose, tongue and skin. Then five working senses: voice, legs, hands, anus and genitals. Then, above the senses, there is the mind, which is within and which can be called the sense within. Therefore, including the mind, there are eleven senses altogether. Then there are the five objects of the senses: smell, taste, form, touch and sound. Now the aggregate of these twenty-four elements is called the field of activity. Then there are desire, hatred, happiness and distress, which are interactions, representations of the five great elements in the gross body. The living symptoms, represented by consciousness and conviction, are the manifestation of the subtle body-mind, ego and intelligence. These subtle elements are included within the field of activities.
The interactions of these 24 elements determinate different characteristic of the individual and the planets. We cannot live in water but fish can. The field of activities is the body and the one who work in it is the person, the soul. According to the work, the results is the different varieties of bodies and cultures.

Evolution is really not a mystery at all, every living thing on this physical planet is evolving continuously including the earth, and the universe, man simply tries to theorize it because there is really no way to explain the why and or how evolutions reality comes into play, mans brain has been programmed for thousands of years through the religious sect to a point where he is incapable of deciphering fact from fiction, in today's world as it did in the past, mans reality comes from a book, and his world and understanding of it stems from that book, he has lost his ability to go beyond that reality, so he continues his idealism and understanding of that book, and fabricates it's importance so that change can never come into effect, and that man can never come to realize the real reason for his existences.

Even though evolution is still just a theory, it has been taught in schools and that still does not make it the truth. It is Satan's biggest lie to lead us away from our faith in God.
According to the Bible, all people today descended from the survivors of a great Flood - Noah's family, who in turn descended from Adam and Eve (Gen 1:11). There are many stories, from many parts of the world, of a great Flood that only several people survived to repopulate the earth.
But today we have many different groups, often called "races" with what seem to be greatly differing features. The most obvious of these is skin color. Some see this as a reason to doubt the Bible's record of history. They believe that the various groups could have arisen only by evolving separately over tens of thousands of years. However, this does not follow from the evidence.
The Bible tells us how the population that descended from Noah's family had one language and were living together and disobeying God's command to "fill the earth" (Gen 9:1, 11:4). God confused their language, causing a break-up of the population into smaller groups, which scattered over the earth (Gen. 11:8-9). Modern genetics shows how, following such a break-up of a population, variations in skin color, for example, can develop in only a few generations. And there is good evidence to show that the various groups of people we have today have NOT been separated for huge periods of time.
One could say there is really only one race - the human race. The Bible teaches us that God has "made from one blood all nations of men" (Acts 17:26. Scripture distinguishes people by tribal or national groupings, not by skin color or physical features. Clearly, though, there are groups of people, who have certain features (e.g. skin color) in common, which distinguish them from other groups. We prefer to call these "people groups" rather than "races," to avoid the evolutionary and racist connotations that have become associated with the word "race."
All peoples can intermarry and produce fertile offspring. This shows that the biological differences between the "races" are not great. In fact, the DNA differences are trivial. The DNA of any two people in the world would typically differ by just 0.2%. Of this, only 6% can be linked to racial categories; the rest is "within race" variation.
This genetic unity means, for instance, that white Americans, although ostensibly far removed from black Americans in phenotype, can sometimes be better tissue matches for them than other black Americans.

Yeah people absolutely not evolve....but the civilizations and technology that is evolved...
Many people believe we are evolved because they tend to accept logical thing...In fact human are the species...not come from the ape or whatsoever...
For the planets have different characteristic because the way they look the life is not same...Imagine world with the same characteristic....Variousity is vital to keep human out from the robot...

Im not surprised it doesnt make sense - the earth never evolved. Only living organisms evolve.... The reason so many people beleive it is, well, because it is FACT.

The real question you should be asking is, if God created everyone on earth and we are all descendants of Adam and Eve, then why are there so many cultures and skin colors and languages? Surely you cannot beleive the Bible's account that God scattered everyone well after the fact, and that skin color is a curse?? If you beleive that, then you believe one skin color is better than another...

the problem involves physical growth and intellectual growth and the type of word we use to describe this.

On one hand you could say we were created intelligently because we are complex, on another hand you could say we evolved because certain phenomenon in the world lead to the conclusion that species are inter-related and develop from each other.

I see it as this: calling it creation is simple, calling it evolution is complex. The truth of the matter is, we are human beings that came into this world through the union of a man and a woman. We grow based on being healthy, and we grow intellectually based on our own ability to rationalize and use our intelligence.
Other than that, why does it matter? If we evolved from apes, it would be quite absurd to believe we could de-evolve back to apes, but that rather we should see it as a possibility that we can evolve into something more complex than human. Some say that evolution is undirectional, but I say it is omni-directional. For if evolution has no direction, it is going nowhere, which completely invalidates the whole concept of evolving towards a higher species. The fact is, if we came from apes, we went from a body with limited reasoning skills, to a body with more powerful reasoning skills, and because reason is good, we have evolved towards a higher position. With this in mind, the logical conclusion is that evolution must be evolving towards perfection. As having a body with perfect understanding and reasoning skills.

God made us in his image, and all of nature is directed towards His goodness. We as souls will not stop until we find the one true source of existence.

The earth didn't evolve. It formed under astronomic and geological principles.

Evolution applies ONLY to LIFE. It does not describe even how life started, let alone anything before that.

However, the evidence for evolution is plentiful and widely disseminated. The only way for people to be ignorant of its real teachings any more is purposeful stupidity.

You want to understand Evolution, go look it up, it's not hard.

Mainworry: Every single species alive today is a transitional species.

Amen it doesn't make sense, only the creation of the world and all that is in it makes since, by a Creator. God! God makes sense and His word continues to make more sense the more I study it, as I pray for His Holy Spirit to teach me.

I do not think that those who believe in evolution really give it a lot of thought- they need to really think about the design of everything and the purposes of everything...how intelligent the design is! The human eye for example---how intricate it's design is- how it works...look at how a baby is formed inside the womb of a woman...amazing!
And yes not to mention a billion other things we could bring up to prove we have an awesome God!

The fact that we have so many different cultures really speaks to how we evolve. If we did not slowly evolve and change, everything would seem much the same... a stagnation, if you will.

Think about your question logically. Remember Kindergarten? That's a word that evolved into the English language from German.

for the first one, I don't believe it.

for the second one, the planets have different characteristics because they (who ever created them) wanted it to be that way. and there are so many cultures because everyone is trying to find the truth, in different ways, but theres only one way, GOD.

and the earth evolving is a bunch of poop. the people who made that theory was just looking for a different way out of facing God
