Australians - What's an OK-looker?

A guy from Australia said one of his girl friends is an OK-looker and I didn't ask him what that meant b/c I have a crush on him. She has a boyfriend so I'm not sure if I'm taking it the wrong way.

OK-looker = the girl is pretty. Maybe has just no big flaws, or one very attractive feature (i.e- smile). Saying that though isn't saying she's 'hot' or that he wnats her, it is just a simple compliment.
