I pay 75% of Day Care costs, can I claim it?

I am divorced and my daughter does not live with me but I pay 75% of her Day Care/Afterschool care costs, am I able to claim these?

No. Only the custodial parent can claim the daycare costs for the Child and Dependent Care Credit.

Only those costs paid by the custodial parent can be claimed.
