I can tell you I don't, I have had a hard but good life. I have many friends and although sometimes I have been on the bread line, yes and even roughed it on the streets. Life has been good to me. I might be lucky and have twenty or more years left, perhaps see my grand children have their babies, but what ever happens I have no fear of death.
No I am not one of those religious types that thinks i will be in the arms of some good. I know just what happens to a body under the soil. I want my ashes to be scattered into the wind,
Life is good, live it while you can and don't worry about death, it will come when it is ready to come.
Daddy Dave.
I do hope on the day I die I will have read a few of your letters and have a good laugh at some of them.

I once did and, in having that resentment, I thought "What's the point? Why not just get it over with?". Then, I came across the following quote that put things in a different perspective. "You who are in the midst of Life should not seek Death. It will find You. Rather, choose the path that will make it a fulfillment." We are all going to die...the question is, how are we going to live?

Depends, somedays I don’t mind the idea and there are other days I feel panicked about it. I think that has a lot to do with how I will die, a slow painful illness or a quick and horrific crash. How old will my child be? And how would I feel about the life I have lived, would I feel regrets and have a sense of things undone or would I die content with the choices I have made?

for me this is a good question and sometimes i also ask myself how will i feel after my last breathe...yes im afraid of dying but i cannot stop it.all people from different races and social status will die.and we cannot resent it because our lives is not in our hands. so the only thing that i can do now before i die is to confess all my sins and try to be agood person as possible so that if im gonna die anytime i can say that i lead a good life but im not saying that im perfect or im really nice to others.
why are you asking that kind of question?
take care.

i don't really what you would say resent that eventually i am going to die but i am concerned what will happen to those who have been close to me when i do. that is what scares me. i have always seemed to have been the glue metaphoically speaking that holds things together in my famliy or outside my family. i always seem to be the strong one too. i worry that when i die, people will not know what to do and because i won't be there to help them, i don't know what will happen. that is really the only thing that i resent about dying.

is there any point, it's the only thing we can all be sure of what would be the point of resentment...the only reason i can think of is if you going to die an untimely death, and you know about it in advance , that would be a good reason for resentment

That's like asking if you resent that you were born. Dying is just one stage in our existence, the closing of our earthly lives and the beginning of the rest of our eternal existence. What is there to be afraid of or resent?

How can we resent the fact that we are going to die?? It's not up to us.
And I look to the day when I can be with my son and grandparents again.

I don't resent that I'm going to die. I am not afraid of death...it's just the transition that I don't want to deal with!

No, because i realize that's it is a natural part of life and not facing that head on is what you will really resent in the future
