I really like those verses in the Bible, but the reason I believe in God is because I have a personal relationship with God.

For some years I felt like a spiritual fake, even a little while after I got baptized again. I did not feel connected with God, but when He started to talk to me through His Word and through circumstances..He became very real to me. I am spending quite a lot of time studying His Word. But we Christians have our doubts too, especially when we want to do something we know is against God's will.

It seems like they are the only verses some know.
Thats weird, too, because even if I was an athiest, I think I could find some way better verses than those (not to say they aren't good verses, its just that there are so many to choose from).

no, those verses just reaffirm my belief.
when I went looking for God, He found me and I knew then that God was and is real. I have seen His hand often in my life and the lives of others,
both Christians and non-believers.

I believe in God because my prayers have been answered, and I just do. There wasn't any particular verse that drew me to God.

christians believe in G-d because that is how they were programmed to believe when they were raised growing up. I believe in G-d because of his Love and because he is always there for me answering my prayers and guiding me through hard times. G-d is real. I don't need scripture to know that, but scriptures do help.

No, I feel a presence: the label I have for that presence is God. Something in me says God is real.

yes we are very fond of those versus but that is not what gives our faith in Christianity, its a belief that we have decided to follow and the fact that Christianity is based on the bible is not saying that we are believers because of what we read but we are believers because of our faith and what we believe.

No, I believe in God because He has answered my prayers and revealed Himself to me.

NO!!, its rather because we accept the fact that what the above verses say relates to us.
