Its frustrating, annoying, exasperating.
It can reach a point where you quite literally want to run away...
But, when tragedy strikes, like my grandfathers death this Saturday, we bond together as a single cohesive unit, doing whatever needs to be done.

That's family.

That's a rather broad and open ended question, however, I have had two experiences of family life:

1. Growing up in my birth family with my Mom and Dad which was fun, blessed and full of adventure as my Dad was in the military and we lived and traveled abroad extensively.

2. Getting married and raising three children - the sunbeams of my life.

Husband and wife - married 10 years - 1 child, 6 years. 2 cats, usually a few dogs (we looking now). Happy, stressful, rewarding, tiring, and most recently, a tonsilectomy which was a greatest decision I ever made for my son. My family is my central unit. We all kiss and hug and let each other know we love one another. All our family gets together and has food and games (lots of family, lots of food, and lots of fun). They make me a better person. Love to all the McLaughlins, Seims, Weinands, Welters, Hatlevigs, Clarks, and all my other family members!

hmm well we've had our ups and downs, but over all it is a great experience and i wouldn't trade the love of my family for anything in the world! it's a lot of work to keep a family functional, and i do it gladly!

I wish we came on this life with no family. I would kill them all if I could.
