Sometimes, but not if I think the person is from a foreign country, and is doing his best in English.
Those who's language is English but make no attempt to spell properly, or to capitalize , are the ones that annoy me.
This is a good spot to practise proper writing. The time will come when you're judged by how you write.

Not usually, but there are exceptions. A typo can be expected and tolerated. Flat out ignorance is different, especially when there is spell check available. I also have a pet peeve with the use of text message type language in this forum. It may have it's place elsewhere, but not on YA.

If it is obviously their second language, I am more kind and respectful. If it is obvious that English is their first language, then that really bugs me. I respect and use slang, but there is a point when too much is too much. My husband is from Ireland. When he speaks to Irish people, I can barely understand his English, when he speaks to others, he still a really heavy accent but people can understand him. He uses less Irish slang/expressions and slows down.

Sometimes I am tempted, but I prefer to avoid those questions, not really knowing if English is their second language or if they are just too lazy to spell-check and use proper grammar.

Every now and then... depending on the question and the level of butchered-ness. Typos are forgivable.
