The bottle of water was new and unopened and has been in my car frozen for a couple months. It has been unthawed for a week now. When I opened the bottle there was white stuff floating in it. What is it? Is it safe to drink?

I just had a taste since the white stuff sunk to the bottom. Tastes a little plasticy, but will let you know if I die from it or if it makes me violently ill :)

It's probably minerals that separated from the water when it was frozen. But I'd toss it just in case.

once you've any qualms, replace them at a shop for sparkling bottles. in case you won't be able to go back it, then run it by a Brita filter out pitcher or use it for watering your houseplants. there change into at present an disclose finished on television the following exposing the actual undeniable actuality that many manufacturers of bottled water are merely tap tapwater from a persons' basement. except you're constructive of the source, i'd not drink them besides... debris or no longer.
