The Bible isn't so much about accounting for scientific discovery as it is about bronze age superstition.

The Bible isn't a biology textbook. Why would it have anything to say about biological principles at all, let alone biological principles that were not discovered until many centuries later??

The Bible says that Goid first brought into being man's body, his biological form, from inorganic matter ("the dust of the earth"). It doesn't describe the process by which God did this, nor does it give any indication of the time frame involved. Therefore if God formed the biological human from inorganic matter through a process of gradual evolution over millions of years, there is nothing in those facts that conflicts with the biblical account.

Scripture then says that once the biological human had been fully formed, God "breathed into it" spiritual life, an immortal soul and moral capacity. At that moment human beings came into existence, combining biological nature with spiritual nature, which is what defines a human. It is that spiritual nature that makes us "in God's image and likeness".

I only pick to understand if the atheist can truly provide the nicely proper answer as they're so particular that God did not create existence? - i am going to instruct that the biblical version is a delusion. All of genesis develop into plagiarized from the Sumerian pills having no longer some thing to do with deities so "god starting to be existence" is a delusion. - As to proving the position existence got here from, we settle for a organic procedure considering that has evidence. A deity magically forming existence is a delusion because you've not got to any extent further began to instruct a deity exists and that what youi use as an evidence is a nicely shown delusion. - There you've easily data and evidence and no hypothesis.

OK, listen very closely. All of you. Especially those of you who have been indoctrinated by a pseudo-educated, agenda-filled preacher: The authors of the Bible were in no way attempting to write what is OUR understanding of a history book. Even those small sections that we theologians label as "histories" are so different than our modern understanding of a historical writing that unless you are seriously trained, you can't hope to be able to figure out what is going on! The Bible is a like a weapon that was put in the hands of children. It is, at it's simplest, a compilation of books written by various people and cultures all trying to explain one thing: Their understanding of how they think God is reveling Himself to THEM. Not you. THEM. As people of faith, does that mean we can't get anything out of it? No! But do you really think you can pick up, say, Homer or the Epic of Gilgamesh or even Canterbury Tales and have even the slightest clue as to what the author is really talking about??? Noooo. So when we study these things we go to a hired professor who has studied for years and underwent an intense interview process (even at a community college). But when we study the Bible, a much more complicated documents. Guys, what do your teachers always tell you? CHECK YOUR SOURCES.

Where is it that we can go to see this astonishing proof about unscrambled genome? Banana's, too.
Shall we go to the cuisine section?

The Bible has no controversies with true science. I said with TRUE science. The only controveries that exist are Christians who should keep their mouths shut because they are about as learned in Gods Word as a grapefruit, OR folks who spit out scientific nonsense which they call proven, but is simply some people's educated guesses. Both sides have problems.

If you want some real answers to that particular argument, wait until Christ returns, and we shall see. Or, hey I'm not trying to be unfair - so let me quickly say - wait until the end of this earth age, and then either God will prove it to you, or else nothing at all will happen except we all blow up. My point is, you ain't gonna prove crap, so put it to rest.

Oh, stop...
As if the bible accounted for *anything.* You're making me laugh...

Unfortunately, you're dealing with people who have been indoctrinated since birth to have absolute faith in a book. If evidence doesn't match what's in the book, it's the *evidence* that has to be thrown out, not the book. That's their world view -- don't let the facts get in the way of a good creation myth. I'd laugh at the answers if I wasn't so sad at all those brains going completely to waste...:(

Simple. One Creator. He came up with a single, simple design that allowed him to produce everything he needed. Then customized it for the banana, the bacteria, and man. DNA is absolute and positive proof of the existence of God, the Creator.

Had everything happened "by change", then there would be no common, single design behind it all.
