they like to b in control all time too and they're soooooo bitchy and they are pretty!

Because they want to be a leader and n charge. people like that in people. people who aren't shy but speak up their mind adn are too opinionated and full of themseleves.

I don't know. I am not any of those things you listed but I am honest and to the point and I am just as popular as some of the selfish girls. So I don't know buddy.

selfish is not the right word i think,self centered is better
well,these girls usually like to hog all the limelight,they want to be the centre of attraction evrywhere they go,they are extroverts, they dont think too much,they believe in action, they are very positive-thinkers,mostly make very gudd friends, thay catch attention without much effort,who would not want to be their friend.they have many friends,& when people have lot of friends the get popular easily.so i think the asker is thinking too emotionally he/she should just take it easy & try to be more friendly with people around them they will get popular soon.thanxs

because people can be so stupid and ignorant at the same time. the world is also unfair. The good thing is after a few years their lack of inner beauty comes out and they really look ugly!!

or unable to make decisons for themselves
or perhaps because they think so highly of them selves some people think o wow they must be really great
