How about a personalized book? Kids love to hear their name in the storyline. Go to this website http://www.tlc-expressions.com They have lots of titles like Batman, Spider-Man, Sesame Street, Ballerina Princess, Little Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast, Scooby-Doo, Looney Tunes, Sports titles and so many more. Check it out - they're very reasonably priced, and make a wonderful & unique gift... Good Luck!

Not sure what you are looking to spend, but mine are 4 and 6. I bought them a gameboy. A lower priced GREAT ALTERNATIVE is the plug-in games they sell at walmart. Theyre 16.99. and have 4-6 different games on them, from spongebob to scooby doo to pac man. Very good investment. Found in the toy section HOPE I HELPED SOME

look for disney related toys, little kids love toys based around cool movies. For the little boy try something from the cars movie, maybe for the girl something from Dora the explorer
