I'm 50 years old sweety and please pay attention to what I have to say.
I was 15 years old. I fell madly in love with a school sweetheart.
He was in trouble too. My parents didn't want me around him either. BUT I thought I was in love!!
At age 19, I married this guy. I spent 5 1/2 years being beat to a pulp, having him treat me like a prisoner, locking me up in a trailer when he'd want to go some where. He'd take all the car keys too, just in case I was able to escape the trailer.
The beating caused me to have several surgeries. I don't look so pretty right now and never will.
LISTEN to your mom.........PLEASE!!!

I don't blame her. she loves you and does not want to see you get hurt or learn his bad behavior. If I were you I would listen to your mom she knows best. My advice stay away from "bad boys" they only cause heart break. They are great for awhile and you think you are on top of the world with them, then they turn on you like a light switch, they are players etc.....need I go on....Oh and you bad boys out there you know I am telling the truth.

Well as long as he doesn't get you into trouble or you are only liking him becuase of his bad boy image i would say go for it!!
Your mum is probably only looking out for you, why don't you explain to her that just because he has been bad in the past doesnt mean he will be a bad influence.

You really should listen to your mom. What is the real reason you like this boy? More than likely it's because your mom doesn't. If I would have listened to my mom more, my life would have been so much easier for me.
I know it sounds dumb, but moms and dads really DO know what they are talking about.

If he has a record, run as fast as you can. It will be hard for him to gain employment which will then hinder you in the future with finances. Mother is right on this one.

listen to your mom. i've just realized that there were alot of things that my mom told me not to do because of her interest on my well being. but being the stubborn little girl i was..... i got burnt alot. your mom already has alot of experiences that makes her more knowledgeable than you are. i say heed her advice.
