As one who has a memory like the proverbial elephant, I am irritated by people who seem to forget most things. However, when you're over 60, it's not a good idea to say to a former school friend, 'I remember the first time you had too much to drink and threw up in the bus on the way home.'

I have a really good memory and do tend to remember a lot of events in my life. However, I know what you mean because my aunt has what we call al Rolodex in her head, and claims she remembers everything and exactly how it happened. Its actually quite annoying! We have given up arguing w/her because its a no win situation! So yeah I cant stand people who tend to remember everything!

It goes both ways. Some people can stand people who DON'T remember everything.

What was the question? Oh... yeah... I don't mind people who rememer everything but I can't stand people who remember everything and brag/show off. I can't event remember my own zipcode extention and my uncle brags that he remembers the address and phone number of everywhere he has ever lived!

I remember Dick Cavett interviewing Ingrid Bergman and he asked her secret to happiness. Her answer was,"A short memory." She might have been right. Personally, I remember most everything and I know it sometimes annoys people who would rather forget certain events.

Hmm....that describes me I guess. I remember everyone I have met and things that other people don't. Sometimes they get......umm maybe pissed off sometimes but they are just playing around because they are glad I remember.

I am one of those people. A lot of the time I stay quiet because I know how annoying I am :)

no because some things in my life id rather forget and a certain family member keeps dragging it all through the mud repeatedly

No especially if I have had too much to drink & made an idiot of myself.There is nothing worse than being told word for word what you did.

I can't, especially when i'm telling a story about something i did and there they are correcting me again infront of people as i have short term memory "damn them all' lol.
