well we've been going out for about 7 months. and i dont want to tell him becuz i dont want to hurt him or make him want to kill some1 and the way i know him he might cry. what do i do???!!!!!!

Honesty is the best policy, if you see a profitable future with this person, you have to keep the trust level high. If he cares enough he will be understanding and supportive to your needs now to help you through any past memories you may have. After all, if it is something that is on your chest, or a skeleton in the closet, it is only fair to let him know. Just be sure you are ready when he starts asking questions, that you are mentally able to bring up your past.

i had this same problem. except we were no longer going out, but we were talking about getting back together at that point. so it took me a long time to tell him, and he knows the guy that did it, and he was trying to get me to tell him where he lived and all that. this happened years ago and only two people know. still. and no i haven't told the police because i was 17 and i was drunk and i know that is not an excuse to get raped but right now that is the least of my problems.

no..dont tell him..yet...wait...because you guys have been only dating for a few months..alot of things come into play..how old are you right now...is this someone you see yourself with long time from now..i think that you should tell someone like your husband..someone you are planning on spending the rest of your life with..this guy is fairly new..and something this personal..well he might take it the wrong way..alot of questions he might ask..

no, you shouldn't tell him unless he asks you. but if he asks, don't lie tell the truth. if you tell him, what happens is that, it will make him jealous and a jealous guy can be pretty dangerous, he might break up with you out of jealousy. guys are not very good at coping with jealousy. remember not telling is not lying or cheating. if keeping it from him keeps him and you happy, then i think......let it be so if you are honest in the inside.

Tell him when you are ready, but the sooner the better. Have family around to support you, he's gonna want to ask alot of questions and get answers.

your boyfriend is goign to be madder than helllllooo because hes goign to feel bad for not being there to protect you....
but you need to tell him but jsut wait for the right time...
because if my fiance got raped yeah i would go insane...
but if she told me id try to make her feel better because this is soemthign that is jsut completely wrong...
but yeah you still need to tell the police who the person was (for your own protection and who knows maybe other people in the future will be saved because of you!)
