They both have commandments to stone adulterers, attack infidels, etc... But Christians have learned to ignore the Old Testament. When will Muslims learn to ignore the Koran?

I know a few that do not follow many of the strict rules of Islam. I have met some that drink a lot, and also smoked marijuana. I have also met some that eat pork.
A lot of fundamentalist Muslims would say these people are not Muslims though.

The Muslims actually do ignore half the teachings of the Quran. Which is exactly why you don't know what the true Muslim should be like. And a pity it is, you never will. Religion doesn't exist in today's world anymore. We only take the teachings we find interesting, personalize them and go on from there. Be it Christians, Jews, Muslims, or who ever. The fact is, religion is actually looked down upon, EVERYWHERE. People who actually follow SOME teachings, are considered backward and inferior. It's a sad state of affairs. There is no humanity left. Just hatred.

Correction, christians did not ignore the bible. They have been told to leave the judgement to God.
The muslims however, have been taught to take judgement into their own hands and behead you.
That's the difference. God of the Jews/Christians does His own work. allah however requires the muslims to do the work for it, cos its only a stone.

not everyone adheres to the rules of their religion i kn ow a jew who eats pork and i know a muslim who gets drunk
