Move all the factories to Canada!

Is that a good idea? I think it is, because it's mostly frozen wasteland in Canada, and we could move all the factories there and air here in America would be much cleaner, and in other countries!

I think that is not a good idea.

First your concept of global warming needs to be cleard. Global warming is happening because it is a natural phenomenon but we humans have induced the rate of rise in temperature. We are releasing more green house gases into the atmoesphere, burning a lot of fossiel fuel and our way of living is not sustainable in nature. We waste things and extract more every day. We are cutting down forests and destroying the nature.

So even if you shift all factories to Canada no one is benefiting but certainly the so called frozen wasteland which is actually natural heritage or virgin nature and forest land will get destroyed. The only advantage will be at local level i.e. regional atmoeshphere will get better but as a whole we will be at a loss.

A much better idea will be to ask the factories to use better pollution control equipments, control green house efect causing gases, plant more trees and recycle and reuse material.

A lot of Canada is made up of tundra which is no longer frozen for much of the year. Afraid your factories would sink. Your pollution moves around the world too so it would not mean you would avoid pollution. There is no way but to bight the bullet and start cleaning up your factories and being responsible world citizens!

The primary cause of global warming is the release of carbon dioxide into the air, due to burning of fossil fuels.

Moving the burning of fuel to Canada doesn't help at all, since the problem is a worldwide increase in carbon dioxide in the total atmosphere of the Earth.

What is needed is the development of energy sources that do not depend on the burning of fossil fuels: solar, wind, nuclear, geothermal, and hydroelectric. Alternatively, the exhaust from fossil fuel burning needs to be captured and the carbon dioxide sequestered underground.

I am sorry to tell you that your "solution" will not affect global warming in any way. global warming is due to humanity dumping a lot of green-house gases into the earth's atmosphere. These green-house gases (one of the worst of which is carbon dioxide) come from factories, power plants, cars, etc.. Moving the source of this pollution from one place to another will not affect the fact that these gases are still being dumped into the atmosphere. What is needed are sustainable, nonpolluting sources of energy (like solar energy, hydro-electric power, wind power, etc.).
I am glad that, at least, you are paying attention to the earth and trying to come up with a solution instead of just complaining.

IF one was blind enough to be fooled by the whole global warming theory...(planet has a normal cycle of shifting weather)
How would a GLOBAL problem be solved by moving the factories to another location?

id hate to spoil your fun, but somethnig quite similar is already happening.

90% of the worlds production in industrial goods is produced in china these days. it therefor also has the vast majority of factories.

The sad thing is we can't stop the global warming COMPLETELY. It's main reason is that the Earth is getting closer to the sun and we can't control or change that. but it's true we made the effects more drastic and quicker then they should be.

the only reason you and others think the lands unspoiled by man are "watse" is becuase in there natural form they serve little purpose to man, but they sereve every purpose to the creatures of nature.

WE DONT OWN THE EARTH
