One primary thing to keep in mind is to have a place to put everything. Once you do, you'll find it's easier to keep things cleaner, because it involves putting things in their rightful places. It's also a little easier to manage if you keep up on cleaning on a regular basis, but you don't have to spend a whole day (or more!) doing a power cleaning. Try something manageable, maybe a room a week. Also, throw away or give away as much as possible. Good luck

Can I be honest here?

A lot of our clutter is paper:
___Is the bill paid? Has is cleared your account? Throw it away (unless you're buying a house.)
__Has the magazine been read? Throw it away or donate to library or office.
__Junk mail? Throw it away BEFORE it comes in the house.

Clothes:
__Haven't worn it in a year? Give it away or donate.
__Someone gave it to you but you don't like it? Take a picture of it and then give it away or donate it.
__Anything you have two of? Get rid of one of them.

Less is more:
__Have old furniture filling up your house? Gnick-gnacks taking up every square inch of your tables and shelves?.... Have a yard sale and get rid of the clutter!!

I am always amazed by the useless "stuff" people refuse to get rid of.

Don't let "things" rule you. They are just "things".

You'll find that a space that is more open, with fewer dust collectors, actually helps to relax you.

well it´s not easy getting rid of clutter , I would say if you love it keep it , if you´r going to use it then don´t get rid of it . And if it´s of no use to anybody in your family then put it in a box and give it to your local charity. & if you really want to declutter your home and get it into ship shape , try this web site Get Organized Now .
