Before we can decide weather or not this thing even exists, we need to be able to define it. Just about every person alive has their own definition of a being, force, or object that they would consider a god.
So what are the absolute must-haves for a god? What properties make god, god?

The must-have quality of any god is to be imaginary. For if the god were real, its existence would be self evident and there would be no debate.

First of all, God must be natural, not supernatural; an element of the natural world, not standing above it.
Second of all, God must have a constitutive relationship with all events.
Third of all, the conception of God must serve a metaphysical function and not simply be a deus ex machina; the concept of God must exist in the framework of a comprehensive metaphysics which integrates all forms of human knowledge, including science.
Fourth of all, the concept of God may be paradoxical, but must not be self-contradictory.

Please respect my God my capitilizing the g... He is the Alpha and the Omega, The Great I Am...He is the one who created you, me, this earth, the babies that are born every second, the trees, the air, the sky....He is the creator of all things and all people. Every one may have thier own interpretation of God, but the bible teaches us to just believe in Him and trust in Him. Its called faith. Dont worry about the definition of God. He is not an object. Read the bible, get to know your creator, and savior. Then you'll really begin to see that the definition is not even worth finiding. I used to wonder where did God come from, who made God, what does He look like...but i got to know his words and began seeing what the Father has done for us and realizing what He has done for me and i forgot about the science of God and loved Him for creating me. I became closer to Him especially after my little girl was born healthy after some life threatening odds. Science didn't save my baby. God was with her!!
