Global Warming is not true, All it is, is an advertisement that stupid people who think they are helping a good cause give money to that people stuff into there pockets and do no research at all. Hears a couple of examples why global warming is not true - - first off the so called scientist state the fact that the ice caps are melting and show you sad pictures of polar bears dieing. Truth be told that the Not so long ago, the Ice caps were recorded 3 inches thicker than ever recorded on history. - Evidence show that the 1000 years ago the earth was hotter than it is today - Nasa has stated that the hottest years of the Century were not the 90's or 00's but the 1930's - Arctic website Crysophere Today reported that Arctic ice volume was 500,000 sq km greater than this time last year. - Ten years ago Different Scientists were telling people that it was global freezing, it just did not get as much media coverage. Truth be told its a big scam for you to fork over your money for them telling you a lie. The Earth goes through out cycles that make it get hot and cold. We Just have to live with it a realize we cant change it.

You drive to work. You know anyone that does. I do not drive, I do not own a car. It is a choice I made. But I ride with my friends when they come by, so I am not an eco nuzi nor do I portend to be. No, we cannot save a planet, we never could. We cannot even stop a war, how can we save an entire planet.
If global warming doesn't get us some idiot like US will shoot off a nuke at someone else that we don't understand, and then some other country will think they are being attacked and fire theirs off, and next and next 89 countries, 40 have Nukes, in a word from te 1960s. MAD

you do know that our planet has cycles it goes throught right?

like days and nights, summers and winters. cold ages and warm ages. the world is constantly changing

why do people seem to think we can make it so it stays the same. a constint routine, we cant, nature is in controll no matter what we do. and yes we our having a bad impact on the earth. it took more then a century of environmental neglect to give us the problems we're faced with today but its going to take time to undo the damage. many around the world, us included, have already begun, by cleaning up pollution. higher mandates on oil shipping containers. better air quality rules. more recycling and more eco friendly product. we're making a good start

yes more can be done. but give it time, yes more people need to get on the band wagon, but not everyone can afford a new cleaner car. in the end it boils down to money and those who dont have for the change to something cleaner and energy cheaper can invest into such things

i know when i have my own house i will invest in wind and solar power for my home, better on the environment and economy

but remeber it NOT just the US. europe is doing a good job but the problem and threat we face is china and india. with there economies Booming, does anyone think they will post restrictions that will hinder there $. no way. like i siad i comes down to money and these countries want to make as much as they can as quickly as they can. in 20 years these 2 countries will put out 3 times as much as the US. but still no as n=much as the us has over the last 150 yrs

and one last thing, about the cycles of nature. 12,000 yrs ago the earth had reached the apex (hieght) of the last ice age. sence then the earth has slowly warmed. in the 1820's Krakatoa exploded. a mini super volcanoe whos ash went all the way around the world making a mini ice age, putting great strain on field to make the crops, puttin great stres on the people of europe and being a main factor in cuasing the french revolution... the people were tired of the marnarch being feed while they starved, one reason the revolted

and if you hear from a scientists about the Permian Extinction Event. the worlds largest with 95% of all life wiped out 250 million yrs ago. wasnt cuased by an astroid like that whcih killed the dino's... it was cuased by what scientists call a Flood Basalt Eruption. basicly a crack in the earth miles long that spewed lava, and for centuries. the rise in temp cuased by the eruption also made another catastrophy that wipe out more and more creature, as the oceans heated. froozen methan at the ocan floor evaporated, methane is the mother of all green house gasses, the rise in methane in the atmosphere cuase the temp to go up round the world by 10*, dont sound like much but in the period of 10,000 yrs the world was the hottest it had ever been sence its formation 4.5 billion years ago

on the plus side, flood basalt is unlikely to ever happen again. and yet man is doing some amount of harm, if we dont PANIC, and go about this rationallly, lot and LOTs of people can come together and make good with commom sence

ps. dont listen to al gore, he got this paranoia going

Yes. Especially since the globe is not as warm now as it has been at various times in the past. But the global warming alarmists don't want you to know that.

This problem has to be addressed at all levels of society.

Governments and private sector need to take the lead. But when that doesn't happen ordinary people have to agitate and lobby for them to take steps.

We have to bear in mind that we will have to be content to experience some sort of climate change. This is because of "inertia" in the climate system (i.e. it takes a long time for the climate to responsd to disturbances in its natural balance, e.g. CO2 emmisions from cars). In other words the greenhouse gases we emit now will affect climate far into the furture.

For this reason we have to move now to reduce emissions if we are to have any hope of being able to deal with the impact of climate change.

This is also the reason why we will have to learn to adapt to a changed climate.

We will be able to do what needs to be done if ordinary people take steps to push their politicians and business leaders to respond. Its in our best interests because it us, ordinary people that will suffer most because of climate change.

Global Warming will be dealt with when it arrives. In the mean time people will keep screwing future generations as usual.

Also China, India etc. they want to have same luxuries as we do so fat chance Al Gore or any other preacher will make them change their minds.
