My boy was 5months old when i caught with my second boy. Theres 14 months between them it was quite hard at first but got easier. Its much better to have two together like that now i think as they go to school together, and do most things together. There like best friends. They are 5 and 6 now and we are expecting a new baby in july, which they are really excited about.

Hi - My kids are exactly 24 months apart. We brought my second child home from the hospital on my 1st child's birthday. It was a little crazy at first (I'm not gonna lie to you), but now it's really great. They play together really well (they are 3 and 5) and we can get them some "bigger" toys to share...and they do! One tip - when you find out you are pregnant, work with your older child on "entertaining himself." Maybe try spreading out a blanket and teaching him/her to play on the blanket with some toys. Gradually work on staying on the blanket to play for 10-15 minutes. This will really help you out when you have those crazy moments or diaper blow-outs that need cleaned up, etc. Don't expect them to STAY occupied for more than 10-15 minutes...but even just that little time can really come in handy.
Good luck!!

I havnt personally gt any kids with that age differnence, but my sister does, she seems to cope quite fine, although the first few weeks when see was getting the baby into a routine was hard. Also, make sure you get to spend some one-to-one time with the older kid, my sister learnt the hard way, and my nephew played up for a week or two trying to get her attention, but he settled when she spent time with him and also starting helping out with the baby...
happy baby making :)
and good luck
