One of my cats goes crazy if I give her a black olive to play with.

It started when I accidentally dropped one once. None of my other 3 cats take any notice but she acts as if it contains the strongest cat nip in the world! She rolls around on it and kicks her legs in the air and bats it round. Why?

i think of this habit is coming from the "hunter" in her. She has gotten carry of nutrition and he or she is letting every physique else be responsive to that it extremely is hers and to stay away. i don't be responsive to of any any chemical components or pollutants in olives that could reason this habit. Olives carry no nutritional fee for cats, and because cats are carnivores, it may reason GI disappointed. different than that, I even have in no way heard of them being poisonous. i think of it extremely is merely a territorial situation.

The flavour and the smell obviously appeal to her there is no harm in letting her have it and if she does eat it the oils are good for her coat my dogs the same try her with a grape see what she does lol.

Cat are just as prone to odd tastes as we. My Stimpy loves...well anything I'm eating. Cats "don't" like to feel left out. Trust me your cat is not wierd.
