I had a neck fusion in 2000. The neurosurgeon's cost 4 the surgery was 30k. A 1-1/2 hours was the time it took. They do $100k a week. The ones where the money is ( sports, Hollywood ) make a million a month

Of course they make probably from half a million a year to many millions. Remember that they spent more than 8 years training AFTER medical school in some cases. This is highly specialized medicine!
