This girl broke up with me a couple of weeks ago, said she wants us to date others, we remain friends, what do I get her for V-day? How about just an e-card? Would that be too much? I don't want to give her the idea that I am waiting for her...

well, i wouldn´t give her anything.... i think, v-day is there for couples in love and i don´t think your ex is in love with u...so any gift u would give her would say i still love u and i think of u a lot and i miss u, especially at valentine´s day. if u don´t want her, or at least don´t want her to think u want her, do NOT send her anything....really.not even an e-card, u would look like an idiot

I had been living w/my ex for 4 years when I broke off our engagement. (He was sleeping around)
It was rite before VDay, and I was still hurt, and pissed. I went to a local meat market and bought a pigs heart. Went to the lumbar yard and bought some barbed wire. and then I went to Halmark store and bought a beutiful box, with pretty paper and a bow and some little heart confetti things. I wrapped the heart in the wire, and put in a box and took it to Fed ex. A few days later he recieved a rotten pigs heart! I had them deliver it when I knew the other women would be at our house! LOL
I wish I could've been there to see his face. LOL LOL

If you want her back - buy something
If you dont want her back - dont buy her anything.

If you do buy her something and she doesnt take you back - you will wish you had spent less. If she does take you back you will wish you had spent more (and still can because youre dating)
So..

If you do spend something, make it an amount you wont be mad about. Get a card or something that will last (not chocolates flowers or pets - they die) then she will remember you when she sees it.

If you think shes a cow buy her lots of chocolate, when she eats it and gets fat you can laugh at her cellulite .. ok thats mean - sorry! :)

Say what? Ex-es do not 'get' anything on Valentine's Day ... period. That is why they are Ex-es. Otherwise, you look desperate ......

Don't get her anything, you are not a couple. If you do, then it'll send the wrong message.
