No. I think God would have a problem if we said we were perfect. We are no where close to being perfect....however, we can proudly claim we are forgiven!

God does not hold grudges. He is love 1 John 4:8. But he is also just Exodus 34:7 "yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished." So we have a problem here. God solved this problem in the person of Jesus Christ. Who is Jesus? He is the infinite God-Man. What does that mean? Jesus was 100% man and 100% God. He died on the cross and rose from the dead to pay for the penalty for our sins and to purchase a place in heaven for us. Now he offers heaven-eternal life- to you and me as a gift. This gift is received by faith. Faith is the key to heaven. It's trusting in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life. Acts 16:31 "Believe (trusts) in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved..." Does this make sense to you? If it does email me at shortfusesrfr@yahoo.com

Christians who are forgiven no longer have the wrath of God abiding on them. However, to avoid the wrath of God from the point of recieving salvation, we must keep our robes spotless or be a castaway just the same as those who have never come to the knowledge of the truth. The Bible calls it "esteeming the blood of the covenant lightly" to abuse the provision of an on-going advocate with the Father and never bearing fruit.

God keeps no grudge and has no hate towards anyone despite their faith. He knows we are not perfect since the fall of adam and eve and through his mercy we are forgiven and can try to reach towards being perfect with his help yet no one can completely be is perfect except God.Because evil and sin is in us we will never be perfect in this world but in heaven we will.

i think all the gods have a problem with that statement really. even jesus(emmanuel) himself has a problem with it and he said it should have been written "those who feel superior are not worthy of the kingdom of heaven" but since it was never written we have all these self rightous ignorant christians crying about it instead. if a person was forgiven then i wonder why emmanuel hates the christians and sooner see them all go to hell? i mean seriously why do christians think they are forgiven when they can not even accept others for who they are? not perfect means lower than dirt and full of hatred and when some one says they are forgiven it makes them look superior to everyone else around them. its my understanding that even jesus has a grudge against them.

No God wouldn't because we aren't perfect and we ARE forgiven. That's God's whole point.
