Me and my friend have different styles of dating and they both don't seem to work for us:
My friend gives her guys space which she thinks they need. She doesn't play hard to get or ignore them, she just doesn't have to be in contact with them 24/7. If he doesn't contact her for a few days, she may send a text to find out if he's ok.
I on the other hand am a little different. I like to know where I stand with a guy. I'm not clingy but I like to be in touch with the guy. I don't like gettin confusin signals and if I don't hear from a guy for a few days I want to know if he's ok, what's wrong etc.

We just wanna know what guys like? My friend's take or mine? Or a little of both?
What's perfect for guys?

Your both right, when i do have a misses, i like to talk to them atleast once a day, but wouldn't think anything of it if i didn't hear off them for 24hrs.

This is difficult, because it depends on what I am doing that day, if I am stuck in meetings all day then out playing squash or football straight after work I would not like being checked up.

But if I had a free evening and we are both available but can not see each other for what ever reason then, a phone call is very nice, but not everyday in between dates.

Well I don't like to go out with a bloke and not hear anything and it doesn't bother me. I like to hear what hes up to even if it doesn't include me, that way he gets into the idea of a relationship from the start. Its worked for me and now I hate it if I don't hear from my b/f in over 4 hours !
I no it sounds a bit to much but girls & guys arent that different - they both like to know they're wanted

Hate hard to get psych games unless you are already a couple and being silly... think kiss or make out chase.

Keep in contact... phone maybe lost, dont like confsuing signals hence would try and kiss early to see where stand...

i am also affectionate and very much would want a girl touching me like I touch her all the time to feel she still likes me

I'm the same as you!

However, from my tiny dribble of experience in the dating department, I think guys do prefer their space. My boyfriend totally ignores me if I text him more than once a day, but if I leave him for a day or so he apologises for neglecting me...

I think you have to strike a balance between both.

I think I prefer your friends take on things. Es specially at the beginning of the relationship it can be very off putting if a girl wants to know where you are all the time and what you're doing. Us guys need our freedom!

of course he's ok if you don't see him for a few days, he wants and enjoys his liberty to be free, look; if he misses you and wants to be you he will call you, but don't be free for every time he calls, be a little mysterious, guys like a challenge, and not to think you're always 'there for him', like a peice of furniture. how boring, nothing that's easy to get---is worth having. be fun and interesting.

I prefer your mate's style. If I am to date you, I would like to know why you may seem to be 'clingy'. Otherwise you seem pretty cool.
