The toungue is one of the fastest healing parts of your body so no worries. I'm assuming it's just a mild burn from hot soup or something. Have some ice cream or cold water to help dull the pain. It will go away shortly, just stray from eating or drinking anything too hot as it will upset the already burnt area.

The mouth and tongue heal very quickly, so not to worry. Although it may smart a bit, all you can do is let time heal it hun.

Just stay away from too hot drinks or food, spicy food, and salty stuff until it feels better!

I agree; I think only time will heal that. It's just like any other burn, but I wouldn't recommend putting any ointment in your mouth...

Happens to everyone at some point. Sucks, but it'll be fine.

Water and other cool drinks will help it feel better but only time will actually bring about healing.

Only time can heal, but if you'd like not to think about the pain, chop off a finger, I bet you won't think about the burnt tongue anymore.
