He could have. But would it matter if he walked on it, under it, or above it? The point was the others had little faith when he was standing right in front of them. The act itself was not the issue.

I have actually thought about this question before but I didn't ask it because I already knew their answers.

He could fly if he wanted to. He ascended into Heaven.
