okay i go out with somebody else right now but my ex keeps calling me and texting me as if i was still single i dont want to tell my boyfriend [well lets just say it wouldnt be pretty] how do i tell him to quit without being mean to him!

tell ur ex directly that u ve got completely out of ur previous reln and ve started a new reln...just tell him the truth....or else he ll alway feel that "there is still some hope"....
in any case do not tell ur ex bf that u ll be frnds wid him.....u shud completely break-off wid ur ex...otherwise it ll be a head-ache for u as well as ut new bf....ok....

Well, he's not going to take it well - your ex, that is. Tell him politely first. If he doesn't respect your wishes after that, be more blunt about it. Sounds like he's your ex for a good reason. He needs to understand the reality of the new situation.

You can be mean to him. He's is your ex. Or:
"do you want him back"? If you are allowing him to call you is because you feel something for him or you are afraid he's going to get violent with you.

ignore him, don't reply when he texts or calls, maybe make sure if you know where he's gonna be that you are with your new guy, talk to a buddy of his to have him to talk to him, or just tell him I'm with someone else get a life

Sometimes you have to be mean to people for them to get the idea. U just have to be blunt and tell him to stop or it could cause problems in your new relationship.
