What is rational about eating, sleeping, having sex and working very hard , just like animals?
Dogs and hog eat very nicely, and enjoy sex very nicely and humans are doing exactly the same thing. Is that rational? The animals have no choice but to follow the nature that they have acquired, but we can make decisions, either live like animals or to find out about God.

There is nothing rational about life in general. Humans think they are so smart when they are the same people manufacturing weapons against themselves and destroying their own habitat. What do we know!

My opinion is....what's rational about love? Nothing but people do it all the time.
People make decisions about their lives because it's what they think is good for them.
You don't buy into it....good for you....but your opinion is just your take on it.
I'm an atheist who isn't arrogant enough to tell other people what they should or shouldn't believe.

There's nothing rational about - that why everything about it is having more to do with "faith" than anything else. I'm a bit more Vulcan than that, though - I prefer logic to blind acceptance.

peoplel tend to forget that they need god and they control god. they put their hopes and dreams in a god that makes them feel less lonely but it wont make them right. they need love security and the illusion that they are important.
i don't need a god. i value and appreciate this life for what it is.
i think objectively and know religion was sought for control and power over a society. people don't get that.
