First of all, I would encourage you to seek treatment for your illness and to pray. I know exactly where your coming from because I too, have struggled with anorexia. It is a progressive disease, and yes, you do sound like you are struggling with it, but I am not a doctor and cannot say for sure whether or not you are. It took me two full years to overcome it, and I still struggle at times, but am now healthy and have learned to accept my body for just the way it is. If you do not consume enough calories (1500 to 2,000) depending on metabolic rate, than you will continue to lose weight. It is very dangerous and life threatening, and I urge you to seek counseling and nutritional help. I understand where your coming from. Gaining weight can be very scary for someone with anorexia, but if you take things one step at a time and follow your doctors orders, I know and have faith that you can reach a healthy weight. I went from 72 pounds to 100 pounds, and am happy with my body. I am still working on gaining a few more, but am taking it little by little and eating a nutritious, six small meals per day. Anorexia is a daily stuggle, but it can be overcome with faith and with effort. Don't be afraid to gain weight, because the weight that you do gain will be muscle, and you will look so much better! I compared a picture of me before and after I gained weight, and discovered that I looked so much healthier and more beautiful after I had gained weight. Embrace your body and accept yourself for who you are, because God made each of us beautiful. It's what's on the inside that truly counts. Check with your doctor to see what your healthy range should be. A healthy BMI is a minimum of at least 18.5. If you do not eat enough and gain, your body will stop where it is. It did for me, too, until I began eating meals with protein and calcium. I hope and pray that you recover and seek treatment, because Anorexia can kill. I almost ended up in the hospital on a feeding tube and was admitted to a partial hospitalization program. At one point, my pulse was so low that I was sent to the hospital. Please don't go down the same road that I did. Get help and catch it early, before it becomes worse. I wish you the best of luck in your efforts!

Well I've struggled with this for a long time and let me tell you, as the disease worsens the least of your worries with anorexia will be your breasts. But to answer your question, no, they won't develop. Breasts are fat tissue. No fat=no breasts.

On a side note, you really should get help. I know it's impossible to do so sometimes, but hopefully you do it before you go through what I did (true story!) like a heart attack, a stroke, absolutely NO boobs, losing huge clumps of hair, always freezing, etc by the time I was 25. Good luck hun.

you'll develop if you stop now. if you go past lets say,16-18, then you will most likely not develop. I started after I developed so I already have a chest, BUT you should stop b/c of the hEALTH RISKS. good luck

I've suffered for 4 years. It's not fun. It can cause severe damage. I developed still, but not as much as others. I wish you luck and hope you can get some help before it takes over your life like it did mine.

If your body isn't getting the nutrition it requires, your natural development will be slowed down. I suggest you get treatment for your problem ASAP before it becomes serious, because if you're not eating properly, your digestive system will shut down and eventually you will be unable to eat anything and your body will starve.
