For all you Christians about to post something resembling Pascal's Wager, this asker's question is one of the many arguments refuting it.

Just because someone follows a religion that's false does not make him an atheist.
Logically speaking, however, no more than one religion can be right...although all can be wrong. Thus, for adherents to hold the belief that what their religion states is, in fact, true is just a demonstration of one's conviction in their beliefs. Thus, for someone who doesn't believe the same to get bent out shape when another 'condemns' them is just silly. A self-satisfied smile with the thought that 'I'm right and you're not" is all that is necessary to survive such condemnations without anger or hatred.

The bible does not state anywhere that all other religions are false. You know why? Because the bible does not endorse religion, nor did the Messiah. In fact here is what Scripture has to say about religion:
"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." - James 1:27
Religion is all man-made, that's why within every major religion there are thousands of denominations and sects all teaching different things. I suggest that you forget about the whole concept of "religion" and actually take the time to read the bible before you judge its content.

Some christians have gone so far as to claim God himself wrote the bible. Some people will claim strange things just to keep thier religion intact. Like the its not a religion, its a relationship statement. Or some other gems: youre taking it out of context, they arent true christians, christians are being persecuted, youre blinded by satan, yeah yeah ive heard it before.

For better or worse, most modern organized religions
try to convince people that they are the one true
religion.
From my point of view, this is false on its face.
Most religions are less than 3000 years old - which means
that the majority of people that ever lived (that is, everyone
before modern religion plus the majority of people on the
planet today) are doomed to some variant of purgatory.
Balderdash.
There are good things to take away from most religions
but exclusivity is NEVER one of them.

well it's like you said it's because they believe in that one book aka the bible and nothing else matters to them as they feel that they are right and everybody else is wrong and what you are saying is right as well that everybody's religion is right to them and their own personal truth and no one has the right to judge somebody else as we are all human beings anyway that would be an interesting scenario that they didn't see coming

I think everyone is entitled to their beliefs. But considering the diametrically opposed beliefs between many of the world's religions, it's not possible for them to all be okay with God or gods/godesses (depending on what you believe). I believe in one God, the God of the Bible, and the Bible clearly states that there is one correct faith. Mankind's desire to exercise their free will, do their own thing, and be tolerant of nearly everything has fostered this thought that everyone could be right and no one is wrong. "Sin" is no longer part of many people's vocabulary, and that IS wrong.

Good points.
If one is not open to ideas and closed to dogmas just because they are born into or converted into that isms, they will be sectarian and fighting over "my sectarian ism is right over yours".
Because truth is everywhere in all religions and truth mentioned in other scriptures in other religions are not false.
Ironically, in sectarian fights one fights without knowing that the God of oneself is the same God of others as well.
In one language one calls God Allah
In another language others call Him Isvara,
Elsewhere same God is called as Jehovah,
In another country He is called as Krishna.

Good points, hon. I'm neither atheist nor agnostic - I'm acedic and it makes much more sense than anything else - to me, at least. I'm glad you're all-embracing, just take care with it.
