Wash face right after use the the acne treatment?

I'm using this acne treatment and the last direction says "Rinse Thoroughly" so I'm wondering do I wash my face right after I use the acne treatment? or do I wait a minute or 2 then wash my face?

you should have washed your face first and then the acne treatment and then riinse thoroughly.
