Which one is better or more elite...
I would say Delta Force since they are invites only(or so they say)....

Delta is all for the media? Whatever the US government want admit to delta but yet they do aknowlege Seals...
As for Delta is made of navy seals I have heard that too.

Comparing Navy SEALs to Army Delta Force operators is like comparing apples and oranges. It would be more fitting to compare Navy SEALs to Army Special Forces (also known as Green Berets).
Delta Force is essentially a community within Army Special Forces that is home to the very best Green Berets & Rangers. Likewise, what many refer to as SEAL Team Six, or DEVGRU, is a community within the Navy SEALs that is home to the very best SEALs. In both cases it is easy to imagine that operators within these two special communities are hand selected based on previously demonstrated capabilities. This is why it's best to compare Navy SEALs (as a whole) to Army Special Forces, and to compare SEAL Team Six to Delta Force.
On many fronts, the two organizations are spitting images of one another just in different branches.

The Seals are part of the Delta Force. Delta Force contains all elite military units.

The Navy Seals are the badest of the bad. Trained for land, sea, and air operations. The Seals are the things that go bump in the night.

None of these are fair comparisons. They all do different jobs and have different training. In terms of which one is more "badass," there is no answer. But I will tell you that in my experience, the Navy Seals and pararescue jumpers of USAF have been the most in-shape people I have ever seen.

Delta Force is a counter Terrorism unit.
Navy Seals are primarly Demo. guys blow **** up and rescue...a navy unit.
