I have been with my girlfriend for over 6 years. She is now 43, I am 46. The last year or so, she has been a lot less affectionate, and a lot less physical(sexual). I've asked her about it and she either says it's natural when 2 people have been together for a while, or she angrily accuses me of just wanting sex. (like that's a bad thing). I just want attention and to feel needed and wanted. Is it normal for women to be this way, am I asking for too much?

Dude it should never be that way. She it not thinking about your feelings at all. I bet she get what she wants when she complains but I bet you dont. I hate to peddle a book but read The proper care and feeding of Husbands. I had that book and it was read by everyone in my office. There was a line to read it. If you do buy it let me know what you think. I couldn't put it down once I bought it. Neither could my office people.

Dude your screwed !!! as women get older they get ( hornier ) more affectionate, there is something else wrong she is either mad at you ( long term ) or dissatified in some way I would think about seeing someone to help you with your problem or tell her to hit the road this thing about not having sex is a deal breaker in a lot of ways women just dont stop liking sex at her age there is a deeper underlying problem you either need to get to the root of that issue or cut your losses and run don't go the classic route and find sex outside the relationship make a decision and get a plan how committed are you ?

The harsh reality is that this is normal.

At her age she is probably experiencing the first symptoms of menopause. This is marked by fluctuations in their cycle and the corresponding irregular hormonal shifts. Yep, it sucks, but it is normal.

And women wonder why men start having flings in their mid-40's.... ;)

it's not because they get older, but because she's been with you a long time... and it happens to a lot of people, not just women.

Maybe she is just in need of some romance? We girls can't resist this. Try it. I hope it works for you! : )
